We were certainly blessed this year.. what a wonderful week.
We started on Monday with Joe's birthday.. Happy Birthday sweetheart.. I know you will enjoy the Fly Rod I gave you and the trip to Branson next fall...
Christmas Eve when I got home from work we went to visit Aunt Evelyn and Uncle Tommy, from there we visited the Young Family for their traditional Xmas Eve Party.. so good to see Craig, Lenny could not make it so we did a shot for him.
Christmas morning Lenny and Karri invited us down to watch Gabe open his tree.. we brought the Hall traditional Cinnamon rolls and Had a wonderful time watching Gabe open presents.
Next we went home to have our tree and eat meat pies.. we also drank Mimosas and enjoyed down time before Gabe got there.. once he did.. he was basically done opening presents..which is fine.. We still have a bag full of gifts for him...we will most likely save for his birthday and probably give him a few when Greyson arrives..
Before Lenny, Karri and Gabe left, we did our annual window seat picture.. thanks Gabe... Notice he is holding his brand new Frosty book, he would not put it down!!!
Later in the day we all went to Grammie Hall's house, singing "Over the river and through the woods" as we drove there.. It was a nice day with most of the Halls in attendance. Very happy to have Matt home this year.
On Friday we had Gabe for the day so he could try out one of his new presents from Aunt Ray Ray.. a new red shiny sled...he loved it.. if you want to see the video go to my facebook page..otherwise, here he is flying down the hill... oh and he also pulled his sled up the hill EVERY time... (about 20 to be exact)
Finally...On Saturday Joe, Julia and I headed to Boston with Daoud Family.. this is a trip we have been planning for months. We had a great time looking at the sights, the weather was warm (40's) and we spent the day shopping, eating at Dicks last resort, then going to the Improv Asylum for a show and then a late night dinner at Al Dente in the North End. We were all back to our hotel by 2am.. and very tired this morning when we woke up... good thing the breakfast buffet lasted till 11am.
Joe and I took Julia to Logan airport and then headed home. Of course, no trip to Boston is complete without a stop at the New Hampshire Liquor store and we are stocked up and ready for our New Year's Eve Open House... Stop by if you get a chance..
Happy New Year! and LUVS!
