Well no time to worry about that, I have lots to tell you about my week. It was a very productive week at work as we wind down for the holidays.. Staff are looking forward to the holidays and we will have special treats for our patients who will be spending Christmas with us instead of their families.
Tuesday Night Joe and I went to Jennifer Kreckel's open House on Congress Street. She is now the proud owner of her building where she has her law practice, she has renovated the office and it is amazing. Congratulations Jen!
Friday night I had the pleasure of participating in the Relatively Dance annual Christmas Show.. It was a lot of fun, especially for my friend Denise Daoud who went way outside her comfort zone.. Thanks Denise for being there and being my friend.

We had fun with out dance ladies, and after the show went to the new Thai restaurant in town.. the food was amazing and the cocktails were Class A! (inside joke there).
On Saturday morning I woke up and put together a large bag of perishable food to take to my friend Barbara Lane, she is the owner of Hot Colors screen printing shop in Norway (she does our SMB shirts every year). This is the sixth year that Barbara has held this food drive, she happened to hold it this year on the coldest day on record for December.. God Bless you Barbara.
She also designed t shirts especially for this event and gave out over 200 of them.. Her food drive was a success and all the donations will be given to the Food Pantries in Dixfield and Peru.

The big event of the weekend was the POLAR EXPRESS!.. I got tickets a month ago for us to take Lenny, Karri, Gabe and Great Grammie (Gri Gri). We felt very fortunate that our tickets were for Saturday and not for Sunday.. you will see why later on in my blog.
Gabe had been sick the night before and did not sleep well. However he seemed fine Saturday morning and the trip to the North Pole was on. We arrived at the Train station and Gabe was very excited.
When we first got on the train it was cold, we were very glad we had brought along blankets to snuggle with.
It was not long after the train left the station for the North Pole that Chef brought Hot Cocoa... and Cookies, It was just perfect and we all enjoyed the entertainment as they danced around our car.
As we continued our journey, the story of the Polar Express was read to us and we sang Christmas Carols.. Hobo Joe came down from the roof to say hello as he passed through looking for a "Cup of Joe"
Of course we were sure to have our tickets ready next when the conductor came through to check them. Gabe got his initials punched into his ticket, he loved holding on to his ticket and showing it to us.
Of course the Grand finale was the appearance of the Big Guy.. SANTA.. he was very friendly, gave Gabe a bell and only tapped him on the head.. which was perfect, Gabe is not too sure of him and was not scared at all . A great introduction to Santa for Gabe..
All in All, it was a wonderful trip.. about an hour and a half, This ride is the number one fundraiser for the Narrow Gauge railroad museum, I highly recommend and I am sure we will go back next year.
~ It's Beginning to look a lot like Christmas ~
Woke up this morning to this beautiful sight
Over a foot expected before the day is done.. I think we have certainly nailed a White Christmas. And hopefully we will have lots of great snowmobiling in Millinocket next month.
Until next week.. God bless everyone, Happy Holidays and LUVS
