Week #27 Ice storm Moving in

We spent the weekend hunkered down waiting for the Ice storm to hit.. we had some bad weather, roads were slick, however, we did not lose power and Julia and Rachael made it home safely on Sunday night.
A wonderful day Thursday at work when our Pathway Panda showed up to visit patients and pass out holiday treats..

We had a busy weekend planned with Gabe sleeping over on Saturday night.. we picked him up and took him to Walmart so that we could finish our holiday shopping.  Of course.. when we entered the parking lot, the first thing Gabe noticed was the Bucket loader.. He and Joe spent time checking it out while I got the shopping done.

We brought Gabe home and decided he could open a Christmas Present early.. we gave him this tent and he loved it.. he would not let anyone get inside with him (other than the cats) until Julia got home... she is the "Chosen one" Good for you Aunt JU JU

We were very thankful that Julia and Rachael made it home safely.. we took Gabe home on Sunday night and started our trek to the two Holiday parties we were invited to.. the first was at the home of Dr. Dieter Kreckel and his wife Jennifer Kreckel esq.
What a wonderful time.. thank you Kreckels!

After we left the Kreckel Party.. we headed out to Peru to Chris and LInda's for her famous Spaghetti and Meatballs.. it was amazing.. OMG.. I cant wait for the holiday to be over so I can get back to eating better..
