First of all, the most exciting news... Karri is fine, but had a little scare with a gallbladder attack at the beginning of the week.. She is going to be ok and we hope to get through this pregnancy without another incident but the exciting news is when she had her gallbladder ultrasound...the technician happened to notice that the baby is a BOY!
We will have the official Ultrasound this week for dates, but he is definitely a boy and his name will be Greyson Conrad Hall.
Gabe has been teasing his mother and saying it is a Sistah!
This weekend marked the 5th anniversary of the annual Dempsey challenge... A run/walk/bike two day event that benefits the Dempsey center for cancer hope and Healing..
The founder is no other than Patrick Dempsey himself.
Here he is on Saturday Morning kicking off the first day which includes the 5K and 10 K walk/run
I walked the 5K and Rachael ran the 10 K..
It was a great day and over 3000 people showed up for the event.
Here is Rachael at the beginning of her run

The course was awesome...great views of the beautiful city of Lewiston...
I took a picture of this as I was walking by I was just thinking how I miss my friend Maria... This made me think of her....She is celebrating 5 years Cancer Free!
When I got home Saturday afternoon, my cousins Cindy and Laurie and I had decided to take our Aunt Evelyn out to lunch...We had a great time laughing, and talking, we have made plans to get together next weekend to visit the cemetery. Please come back to see next weeks blog..
Sunday was an amazing day as well... I got on my bike and rode 25 miles...this is the longest ride I have had all summer and man...did I miss my bike... I forgot how much I love it and I have to get myself back in the saddle again... Phew... It was awesome..
The day started out cloudy and overcast... but no rain.. and it was warm for October.. Great biking weather in my opinion.
I was by myself this year for the first time.. but that was ok... I was prepared mentally and I know I had friend along the way..
The Rumford Hospital rest Stop...the best one on the Dempsey Challenge ride.. You guys ROCK!
Everyone on the ride was supportive of each other ....For most it was their first time and they were asking me lots of questions... It was a great day.
I got home around 1pm to the wonderful smell of a New England Boiled Dinner.. my husband was cooking, he also made an Apple pie.. We were planning to have guests.. Sarah, Grammie, Ashley, Rachael and Will, Lenny, Karri and Gabe.. it was a wonderful evening and a perfect end to this weekend...LIFE IS GOOD
