With the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays just around the corner.. I decided to start my shopping early. Thus far I have Joe done, Julia, Rachael and Will, and of Course, Gabe half done.. although I dont need to get him anything else.. I am sure I will.
Oh and since my husband just happens to have his birthday two days before Christmas..
"NAILED IT".. :)
Found the perfect gift and he will be very surprised.
So let me see, this seemed like a short week, I took Monday off to finish the kitchen.. and then the work week seemed to fly by.
Friday Night Rachael and Will were here, we all went to Maria's house for the Pampered Chef party that she and Yu Chen were hosting.. yes I bought stuff but it is a surprise for some who may be reading this.
After everyone left.. Maria, Sharon and I practiced the New 2014 SMB Song!.. you girls will just have to wait for February to hear it...It is amazing!
Saturday, Gabe came over to play with Memere' and Papa Joe.. We read books, we did Facetime with Julia and Kristina, we played blocks.. we watched the helicopter fly very close to the ground in our back yard.. (not sure what Lifeflight was doing, may have been searching the river, but Gabe loved seeing it so close).
He slept over, and again I am amazed at how well he has adjusted to his big boy bed.. he is so good.
This morning we woke up and went grocery shopping, Right now he is taking a nap, Soon we will be dropping him off at his Grammy and Grandpa's so we can go to dinner at the home of Denise and Said Daoud..
We will be celebrating not only Said's birthday (Thursday) but also his sister Magda.. (today).. Love these people!
When I get back tonight I will post pictures and upload this blog...
